Plane's emergency dirt track landing in WA

A pilot has made an emergency landing in Western Australia's Kimberley region, causing only minor damage to the aircraft.

A pilot on a flight from Alice Springs to Broome has made an emergency landing on a dirt track in Western Australia's Kimberley region.

The aircraft, believed to be a single engine Cessna 210, landed on a track in Djugun, about three kilometres from Broome, at 7.45am on Sunday.

The pilot was uninjured while the plane sustained minor damage.
