Plea to find missing Chinese national

Police have launched a public plea to find a missing Chinese national in Melbourne.

Police have pleaded for public help to find a Chinese student who has gone missing.

Xu Min Xu, a 36-year-old Chinese national studying in Melbourne, was last seen at a restaurant where he worked in Clayton on August 16.

He was living with family in Mt Waverley until August 8, and it's believed he last attended school on August 10.

Police hold concerns for Xu due to the length of time he has been missing, which is out of character.
