Pleasant poser for Aussie netball coach

Australian netball coach Lisa Alexander has to decide whether to change a winning line-up going into the final Test against New Zealand.

Australia's Lisa Alexander has the kind of selection conundrum coaches relish, as the Diamonds seek to complete their first four-Test netball winning streak over arch-rival New Zealand in 15 years.

The world champions hold an unassailable 3-1 lead going into the final Test in Canberra on Sunday.

They have turned their previously ailing fortunes around in the space of a month, after dropping the first game in Invercargill to extend their all-time losing streak to five.

"The records and stuff are fine - that's not something we focus on or worry about too much," Diamonds' defender and vice-captain Bianca Chatfield told AAP.

"We haven't executed our game plan for a full four quarters and that's a massive focus for us tomorrow.

"We need to win this. We need to play well. We still haven't probably executed our best game.

"We've been lucky to get across the line on a couple and we really need to make sure we get this win on the board for our own confidence and belief going into the Commonwealth Games."

Alexander has to decide whether to retain the same starting seven for a fourth straight Test or give other players a go in the last match against New Zealand before next year's Commonwealth Games.

"I think it will cause her a bit of a headache tomorrow as to what she's going to do," Chatfield said.

"The thing is that we have got 12 girls that are all very strong and, no matter what combination on court we put out there, I believe we can still win.

"We've built good relationships with the (starting) seven that have been on the last three games and that's shown because we have won the games.

"But you feel for the girls that haven't had an opportunity yet and we'd love to see them out there."

The developing stability of the Diamonds' line-up hasn't been lost on New Zealand, who have yet to settle on their strongest starting seven.

"They have a combination that knows each other and knows what they are going to do when they are under the pump, or when they are under pressure," New Zealand midcourt linchpin Laura Langman told AAP.
