PM to address national security in Turkey

Tony Abbott will make time during his trip to Europe for Anzac Day commemorations to address national security with officials.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott will use a trip to Europe to speak with French and Turkish leaders about "threats to our freedom".

While attending Anzac centenary services at Gallipoli, Mr Abbott will make time to address threats to national and international security with government officials.

"It's important that good and decent countries should stand together and work together to keep their own people and all people as safe as we humanly can be," he told reporters in Canberra on Tuesday.
