The government of Papua New Guinea Prime Minister Peter O'Neill is in turmoil over corruption allegations against him.

The anti-corruption commissioner who exposed the case has been sacked but he is now in Australia lobbying the Abbott government, PNG's biggest aid donor, over what he says is a breakdown of the rule of law.
