Police appeal for missing Melbourne woman

There are concerns for the whereabouts of missing woman Danielle Zschech, 42, who hasn't been seen since she left her Heidelberg Heights home on Wednesday.

A 42-year-old woman has gone missing from her home in Melbourne's northeast.

Police say Danielle Zschech was last seen by a family member about 11.30pm on Tuesday at her Edwin Street home in Heidelberg Heights, but left before 6am on Wednesday.

She took her wallet and her blue Ford hatchback, registration number SVN845, but did not take her phone, medication or extra clothing.

She is described as about 162cm tall, of large build, with straight shoulder-length fair hair and blue eyes and of fair complexion.

She was last seen wearing black leggings and a silver three-quarter sleeve top.

Anyone knowing her whereabouts is asked to contact police or call triple-zero.
