Police close Nomads clubhouse in NSW

Police have searched then dismantled a clubhouse of the Nomads bikie gang in NSW's Hunter region over the alleged unlawful sale of alcohol.

Police have shut down a clubhouse of the Nomads outlaw motorcycle gang in NSW's Hunter region over alleged breaches of the liquor laws and other offences.

The gang's Singleton clubhouse was dismantled on Friday night after police executed a search warrant and allegedly found evidence of the unlawful sale of alcohol.

The 52-year-old leaseholder, who is alleged to be the president of the Nomads Hunter Valley Chapter, is expected to be issued a court attendance notice for being the controller of an unlicensed premises.

Eight members of the club were warned in relation to consorting offences and two were issued court attendance notices for drug possession.
