Two Sydney house fires overnight are being treated as suspicious while a family was lucky to get out uninjured from a third.

The first of three call-outs in half an hour was to a burning house at Granville.

Those inside made it out safely before fire crews arrived but neighbouring properties were evacuated while the fire was put out.

The second house to go up in flames was at Telopea where no one was home at the time.

But a man and his two teenage children had to flee from the third house at Ambarvale.

There's damage to a bedroom and police aren't treating the fire as suspicious.
