A pub employee has been left shaken after being threatened with an axe and a machete during a late-night robbery in Sydney's innerwest.
Three masked-men burst into Petersham Public House and demanded cash from staff members just after 11pm on Tuesday.
The men fled in a waiting dark-coloured Subaru station wagon with cash, police said.
Duty Officer Mark George said the pub workers were shaken by the robbery.
"Thankfully no one's hurt but it's definitely a very serious offence that we're keen to get to the bottom of and solve promptly," Mr George told ABC News.
