Police identify fatally stabbed Vic man

Victorian homicide detectives have yet to make any arrests after the stabbing death of a 44-year-old Ascot Vale man.

Police have identified a man fatally stabbed in suburban Melbourne.

The 44-year-old local man was found collapsed outside a block of units in Ascot Vale just after 6pm on Saturday and died at the scene.

No one has been arrested at this stage.
