A police officer has been dragged along the road for 10 metres after pulling over a stolen car near Brisbane.

The stolen Mercedes-Benz van was spotted in Split Yard Creek about 2.30pm on Friday and came to a stop to avoid a tyre deflation device set by police.

When police opened the van door and asked the driver to get out of the vehicle the driver allegedly drove away, dragging an officer for a short time before the van had its tyres deflated in Tivoli.

The police officer was uninjured.

A 35-year-old woman has been charged with multiple offences including dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and driving under the influence of liquor or a drug. She is due to face Ipswich Magistrates Court on Monday.
