Queensland Police have released CCTV footage of an arson attack on a mosque in the state’s south-east.
A fire in January damaged the floor of Toowoomba’s Garden City mosque but another attack this month destroyed much of the building’s interior.
Police believe the two fires are linked but have exhausted forensic leads and are now appealing to the public to help identify the culprit.
The footage from January shows a male breaking into the mosque, flames appearing in the buildings windows and then a male walking way.
CCTV footage of the most recent attack was destroyed by the fire.
A reward of up to $25,000 is offered for information that leads to a conviction over the fires.
