Police seek help to find NSW most wanted

NSW police have launched Operation Roam, an annual event that appeals for public help to find suspects on the state's most wanted list.

Police are asking the public to help find three men on the NSW most wanted list.

Nathan Glover, 20, is wanted by detectives over an alleged serious assault in the Illawarra region in July last year.

Matthew Tune, 32, is being sought for an alleged assault and robbery in south Tamworth in 2012.

Detectives are also hunting for Hisham Touba, 36, for an alleged aggravated robbery at Prestons in Sydney's southwest in December 2001.

"We need the support of our community to help us capture these people," Assistant Commissioner Peter Barrie said on Monday as Operation Roam began.

Under Operation Roam, running annually since 2011, police aim "to tap into the wealth of information in our community," Asst Cmr Barrie said.

"Crime Stoppers has proven that often the smallest piece of information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, can be the missing piece of a puzzle to solving a crime or locating a wanted person."

Information coming to police through Crime Stoppers helps solve a crime every 11 hours, Crime Stoppers deputy chairman Peter Price said.
