Political upheaval as Slovenia heads to the polls

Slovenia goes to the polls this weekend after the short-lived centre-left government of Prime Minister Alenka Bratusek collapsed last month.

The country is in the middle of a financial and political crisis and the pre-election polling suggests a major upheaval in the political landscape.

Kerry Skyring is SBS' Central Europe Correspondent.

He spoke to Zara Zaher about the collapse of the Prime Minister's government which led to snap elections.
