Tim Chantarangsu also known by his rap name Traphik and Timothy DeLaGhetto dropped out of school five years ago to pursue his dream career in entertainment. He is also a cast in MTV2’s Wild ‘N Out, an American sketch comedy hosted by comedian Nick Cannon. His parents migrated from Thailand and reside in California where they also run their own Thai restaurant.
He says a huge part of his income comes from his YouTube channel Timothy DeLaGhetto which has over 2 million subscribers.

Tim attributes his sense of humour to his parents in the video where he presents them with a cheque and which has now received more than 300,000 views.

“My family and my parents are a big part of who I am as a person and why I do what I do," he said.

"I get my sense of humour from them and I'm just so grateful that they've raised me with so much love and so much open minds and one of the main reasons I go so hard at this entertainment grind is so they don't have to work so hard, because they work so hard."

In addition to the check for $210,000, Tim also paid another $130,000 to the bank to pay off his parents mortgage.

And in response to his father’s perky comment made in the video about grand kids, Tim tells E! News: "Now I'm just gonna rel, or maybe start saving for a ring because my parents really want grandkids."
