Port Adelaide AFL players are too one dimensional when it comes to fixing their problems, says Power midfielder Ollie Wines.

Port Adelaide players are too one dimensional when trying to fix their AFL problems, midfielder Ollie Wines says.

Ahead of Friday night's crucial clash with Richmond, Wines says Power players must learn to expand their focus beyond one area.

"When there is something we need to focus on, we probably put too much energy as a playing group into that ... I guess that will come with a bit more footballing maturity, just understanding how to focus on a few different things at one time," Wines told reporters on Tuesday.
