Port Adelaide's AFL onballer Andrew Moore is facing a charge of intentionally making contact with an umpire in state league ranks.

Moore, who hasn't played an AFL games this season, fronts the SANFL tribunal on Tuesday night.

Moore has been charged with intentionally making contact with field umpire Craig Fleer following an incident after the quarter-time siren in Port's SANFL game against North Adelaide last Saturday.

The case was referred directly to the tribunal by the SANFL's incident review panel.
