Port Adelaide will be without Patrick Ryder and Jackson Trengove for Friday night's AFL clash with Geelong.

Port coach Ken Hinkley confirmed on Thursday that ruckman Ryder (achilles) and key defender Trengove (ankle) wouldn't be right to face the Cats.

The duo will miss a crunch clash at Adelaide Oval, with the ninth-placed Power hosting 10th-placed Geelong.
