It's all looking eerily familiar for Australian IndyCar star Will Power.
Three races remain in this year's title hunt and Power holds a narrow edge in the standings.
A three-time championship runner-up, you could forgive Power for being apprehensive going into another nailbiting finish.
The 33-year-old, however, believes his near-misses from 2010-12 will give him an edge going into this weekend's event in Milwaukee.
"Experience counts," Power said.
"I feel like this is the first year I've gone through the season feeling of all the tracks we're going to, there is no weakness there.
"I definitely feel confident."
Power's championship lead has been attained despite not winning a race since June, a drought he freely admits must end if he's to avoid another championship heartbreak.
With teammate Helio Castroneves a mere four points behind him going into this weekend's racing, Power says whoever can find winning form will go on to claim the title.
"At the end of the day, if you win two of the last three races or we win all three, obviously, we'll win the championship," he said.
"But it always depends on your situation at the time ... where you qualify, how you're running at certain times of the race, you know?
"It's really how you drive and what chances you may take.
"Adapt to those situations throughout the weekends that you're competing, and that's how you're going to get the best results."
