Power strong in IndyCar practice

Australia's reigning IndyCar champion Will Power has topped the practice times after two rounds at the Grand Prix of Long Beach.

Team Penske drivers Will Power and Simon Pagenaud have the fastest time through two rounds of practice at the Grand Prix of Long Beach.

Australia's reigning IndyCar champion Power had a time of one minute, 7.5485 seconds during his second practice session around the 1.968-mile, 11-turn circuit through downtown Long Beach.

Pagenaud came in at 1.75855. Helio Castroneves, Scott Dixon and Juan Pablo Montoya rounded out the top five.

Qualifying in the 32nd running of the Grand Prix of Long Beach is Saturday and the 80-lap race is Sunday.
