One of the pregnant women and her husband apparently boarding a plane from Nauru to Australia.

The immigration minister is being urged to allow two refugee families temporarily flown from Nauru to Darwin to be housed in the community.

The two families -- totalling four adults and a child -- have been brought to Australia for the birth of their youngest children.

They're apparently refusing to leave the bus meant to transport them to Wickham Point Detention Centre.

The Refugee Action Coalition's Ian Rintoul told Peggy Giakoumelos the two wives are around eight months pregnant, and should be allowed into the community as they await admission to hospital.
