Warrington Super League coach Steve Price hailed his side's best performance during his tenure as they overcame Wigan 23-0 to reach the last four of the Challenge Cup.
The Wolves turned the tables on their arch rivals following their 38-10 hammering at Magic Weekend to dominate their quarter-final at the Halliwell Jones Stadium from start to finish.
"It was our best performance to date," said Price, who succeeded fellow Australian Tony Smith at the start of the season.
"I thought in the first 40 minutes we put them under a lot of pressure with our defence.
"That's what we pride ourselves on, working hard for each other; they didn't look like scoring, we were outstanding throughout the whole game.
"It was a great win against a quality football team. The energy and intensity from start to finish was first class.
"I thought we lacked a bit of polish and execution in the middle part of the second half but I am a hard man to please at times."
Warrington, who scored tries through Kevin Brown, Ben Murdoch-Masila, Josh Charnley and Dec Patton, were well served by England forwards Chris Hill and Daryl Clark while scrum-half Tyrone Roberts produced his best performance for the club.
"That's the standard of Tyrone now," Price said. "It was his best game by a long shot and there's still more to come. That's why I signed him."
