Speculation is swirling that wedding bells may soon be ringing for Prince Harry.
Rumours that the red-headed royal may be engaged are emerging following reports his girlfriend Cressida Bonas has moved in with him.
The British royal has been dating the 24-year-old aristocratic socialite for 18 months and according to reports Bonas has been given security clearance at Kensington Palace so she can `come and go' as she pleases, writes entertainmentwise.com.
But before there is any engagement announcement, Prince Harry has to follow certain royal protocols.
"First he needs to go through certain royal protocols, such as asking his grandmother's permission," an "insider" told America's OK! magazine.
"Palace sources say there's not been a formal request made to Her Majesty yet, but the fact we're hearing about it means it's likely he's already popped the question and they're waiting until all the boxes are ticked before formally announcing it."
Earlier this year bookmaker William Hill slashed the odds on Prince Harry proposing to Bonas.
William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams told the dailystar.co.uk:
"The rumour machine has gone into overdrive since Prince Harry announced he was moving back to London and it could well be the case that the world's most eligible bachelor will soon be off the market."
Prince Harry and Bonas were first rumoured to be dating after they attended the Dark Night Rises premiere in London last year.
