Proteas paceman Rabada allays injury fears

Proteas paceman Kagiso Rabada left the field briefly to ice his shoulder during the first Test against Australia at the WACA Ground.

South African paceman Kagiso Rabada has allayed injury concerns by returning to the field in the first Test against Australia at the WACA Ground.

Rabada left the field midway through the morning session on day five to ice his bowling shoulder.

At that stage, Australia were 5-214 chasing 539 for victory.

South Africa were already without injured paceman Dale Steyn and could ill afford to lose Rabada as well but he was able to return before lunch.
