Public Service Commission accepts pay deal

Public Service Commission staff have accepted the government's pay offer, which will deliver workers a 4.5 per cent increase over three years.

Workers at the Australian Public Service Commission have backed the government's pay offer, just days after Treasury accepted a similar deal.

They have accepted a 4.5 per cent pay increase over three years in exchange for productivity improvements.

The decision in the agency responsible for overseeing the wage bargaining policy set an example for others in the public service, Employment Minister Eric Abetz said in a statement on Monday.
