Pumas omit two players ahead of NZ Test

Flanker Juan Manuel Leguizamon is one of two Argentina players left out of their squad ahead of Saturday's Test against the All Blacks.

Argentina have trimmed two players from their squad ahead of their Rugby Championship Test against the All Blacks in La Plata.

Injured flanker Juan Manuel Leguizamon and hooker Santiago Iglesias Valdez are the players from the 28-man tour group that played Tests in Australia and New Zealand this month who have been omitted.

The Pumas face the All Blacks in La Plata on Saturday and the Wallabies in Mendoza a week later.

Argentina are still to win their first Rugby Championship Test since being admitted to the expanded four-nation competition in 2012 while New Zealand are still to lose a Test in that time.

Argentina squad:

Backs: Horacio Agulla, Marcelo Bosch, Tomas Cubelli, Jeronimo De la Fuente, Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino, Santiago Gonzalez Iglesias, Juan Martin Hernandez, Juan Imhoff, Martin Landajo, Manuel Montero, Nicolas Sanchez, Joaquin Tuculet.

Forwards: Matias Alemanno, Marcos Ayerza, Rodrigo Baez, Santiago Cortese, Agustin Creevy, Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe, Mariano Galarza, Ramiro Herrera, Benjamin Macome, Lucas Noguera Paz, Bruno Postiglioni, Leonardo Senatore, Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro, Tomas Lavanini.
