A senior police officer who allegedly fired shots at a getaway car during a chase on the Gold Coast will stand trial.
Senior Constable Barry John Wellington, 50, is facing a charge of dangerous conduct with a weapon after allegedly firing his gun at a car used in an armed robbery in May last year.
Sen Const Wellington was ordered to face a two-day hearing in September when his case was heard in the Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
