Police are urging anyone with information about a fatal hit-and-run crash south of Brisbane last week to come forward.
A motorcycle hit the rear of a truck in Logan Village last Friday night just before 8pm while travelling on Waterford-Tamborine Road.
Police allege the truck turned into the motorcyclist's path, with the 22-year-old male rider from Cedar Grove pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck with a white cab did not stop at the scene and police have speculated the driver might not have been aware of the crash.
The police released CCTV footage and images in relation to the incident on Thursday and are urging the driver or anyone with information to come forward.
Senior Constable Neil Campbell said the truck would have distinctive damage as a result of the crash.
"The left rear tail light assembly located at the scene appears to belong to the truck and has been broken from its mounting as a result of the crash," Sen Const Campbell said.
