Qld cyclist critical after truck crash

A truck has collided with a cyclist who was riding along a highway in southeast Queensland, with the accident leaving him with critical injuries.

A 50-year-old cyclist is fighting for his life in hospital after a collision with a truck in southeast Queensland.

Police say the accident happened when the man was riding his bike on the Cunningham Highway at Aratula on Monday evening.

The cyclist was airlifted to the Princes Alexandra Hospital with critical injuries.

The 56-year-old truck driver from NSW wasn't injured.
