A four-year-old girl has died in hospital after a car crash that killed her mother and two siblings on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

Matilda Jackson was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after her family's four-wheel-drive skidded off a road and ploughed into a tree near Glenview on Friday night.

Her mother Keisha Jackson, 30, her 10-year-old brother Ryan Jackson-Cook and seven-year-old sister Joan Jackson all died in the crash.

Queensland police said that four-year-old Matilda died in Brisbane's Royal Children's Hospital on Sunday night.

Her brother Ethan, 11, the only survivor of the crash, was discharged from Nambour Hospital on Saturday.

Ms Jackson's friends have taken to social media to pay their respects.

The Forensic Crash Unit investigation continues.
