Qld govt pledges $30m to cut ENT lists

The Palaszczuk Government has pledged $30 million to Queensland's hospital waiting lists for ear, nose and throat patients.

The Queensland state government has pledged an additional $30 million to reduce hospital waiting lists for ear, nose and throat patients.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says the funding will be targeted at patients, in particular young children, in the state's southeast.

There are about 14,000 people waiting to see a specialist, the premier said on Monday.

The money is in addition to a $30 million pledge made in March to reduce general hospital waiting lists.
