Qld man banned from every pub in state

A magistrate has banned a Queensland father-of-two from every licensed premises in the state to curb his allegedly anti-social behaviour.

A Queensland man has been banned from every pub in the state to try to curb his allegedly drunken, violent behaviour.

Father-of-two Steve Parnell has been charged with five offences, including two counts of serious assault, after noise complaints drew police to his property on Sunday.

There he allegedly became violent, striking an officer before he was subdued with a Taser, the Gladstone Observer reports.

Magistrate Mark Morrow enforced strict conditions when he granted Parnell bail on Tuesday.

He also ruled Parnell submit to breath tests every week.

He's due back in court on April 7.
