A man who poured petrol on a BBQ is recovering from burns.
The 55-year-old man was airlifted on the weekend from a residential property at St Lawrence to the nearby Mackay Base Hospital in central Queensland after the incident.
He suffered burns to his face, neck and chest.
Rescue authorities say the burns are not serious.
