Qld man 'hides cannabis in fuel tank'

A Queensland man has been charged after police allegedly found 10 kilograms of cannabis stashed in his vehicle's fuel tank.

Police have allegedly found 10 kilograms of cannabis in the fuel tank of a Queensland man's vehicle.

Officers say they discovered the stash in the vehicle's second fuel tank after they stopped the 56-year-old driver in Warwick, in the state's southeast on Friday evening.

The Palm Beach man was charged with several offences including supplying dangerous drugs and is due to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Saturday.
