Two men are facing kidnap and assault charges after a man was abducted, bashed and stuffed in a dumpster south of Brisbane.
Police allege the pair forcibly removed the 20-year-old from a residence in Birkdale and bundled him into the back of a car about 4am on Monday.
They say the man was driven to a local park and assaulted before being dumped in an industrial bin.
He managed to find help at a nearby house and called police.
A 26-year-old man from Deception Bay and a 21-year-old man from Holland Park West have been charged with a series of offences including kidnapping and assault occasioning bodily harm.
They will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
