Qld mum, twin girls missing for months

Police believe a Townsville mother and her twin daughters, who have been missing for almost three months are living in the north Brisbane area.

A mother and her twin daughters, missing from their north Queensland home for almost three months, could be in Brisbane.

Police say Catherine Watter, 41, and her seven-year-old girls Bronte and Isabella were reported missing from Townsville on April 4.

"Police hold concerns for their welfare as they haven't been seen or heard from by family or friends since," a spokesperson said in a statement.

Investigations suggest the family may be living in Brisbane's north as there had been sightings in the Everton Park and Strathpine areas.

Both girls are described as being about 100cm tall, with a slight build, fair skin and light brown hair.

Isabella has short hair, while her sister wears hers longer.
