Seven men have been charged after $1 million worth of cannabis, a hydroponic set-up and cash were seized in police raids near Nimbin in northern NSW.

Fifty cannabis plants and about 100kg of cannabis leaf were found at a property on Kyogle Road in Mount Burrell, along with a further 31 bags of dried cannabis at a home in Lennox Head on Thursday, police say.

The men, aged between 28 and 55, are in police custody and are due to face Lismore Local Court on Friday on charges of cultivation of a prohibited plant for commercial purposes and supplying a prohibited drug.
