Two teenage prison escapees, including one convicted of joyriding in Bronco Darius Boyd's car, have been taken into custody.

Police say they found Hayley Gillespie and Mary Brimble, both 19, at a Loganholme address south of Brisbane in the early hours of Saturday.

Both have been charged with escaping lawful custody and are due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court later on Saturday.

Gillespie was serving an 18-month sentence for 57 offences, including dangerous driving and evading police while behind the wheel of an Audi stolen from Boyd's home.

Brimble was serving 22 months behind bars for robbery with violence and occasioning bodily harm offences.

The duo escaped from the low-security Numinbah Correctional Centre in the Gold Coast hinterland on Friday afternoon.
