Qld police constable charged with fraud

A Queensland police officer has been charged with fraud, a day after he was suspended from the force for allegedly using private funds inappropriately.

A Queensland police officer suspended for allegedly using private funds inappropriately has been charged with fraud.

The senior constable, 47, from the police service's road command will face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on March 26.

He was suspended from official duty on Wednesday.
