Qld police hunt man over attacks on women

Two women have been attacked by a man in similar incidents north of Brisbane, police saying both attacks may have involved the same assailant.

Police are hunting a man they believe is responsible for attacking two women north of Brisbane.

A 56-year-old woman was walking along Thompson Crescent in Clontarf on August 8 when she was approached by a man who started talking to her before twice pushing her to the ground.

Police believe the incident may be linked to an incident the following day when a man hiding behind a tree approached a 49-year-old woman walking near Apex Park at Woody Point before talking to her and exposing himself.

Police have released an image of a man who is Caucasian, aged in his 20s, around 178cm tall and of medium build with light hair and large holes in his earlobes.
