Queensland senator Fraser Anning has lashed out at "fake" Muslim refugees, arguing white South Africans instead need to be urgently allowed in to Australia to avoid "black radical" genocide.
The recent recruit to Bob Katter's Australia Party called on the federal government to address the "humanitarian crisis" in South Africa.
"Unlike the Muslim fake refugees, much loved by the Greens and company, who come here to live in public housing and collect welfare, white South African immigrants to Australia have a strong record of self-reliance, integration into the community, working hard and paying taxes," Senator Anning told parliament.
"We need, as a matter of urgency, to let white South African refugees come here before black radicals and South African communists finish their plans of genocide."
It was revealed last month more than 200 South Africans are in the process of applying for Australian humanitarian visas.

Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton has previously stated persecuted South African farmers deserve special attention, saying in March, "We are certainly applying that special attention now."
Senator Anning praised Mr Dutton while raising fears of similar persecution of white farmers in Zimbabwe, which he refers to as Rhodesia.
"Australia needs to stretch its arms across the sea and embrace our brother frontier nation to offer sanctuary to our fellow European Christians," Senator Anning said.
He said if the South African Communist Party had its way, white people would be "killed en masse for no other reason than their race".
Senator Anning split with One Nation on the same day he entered parliament earlier in the year, before joining forces with Mr Katter two weeks ago.
