A Queensland woman who turned up to court to support her friend who's been charged with murder, has ended up with her own legal problems.
Police charged the 23-year-old woman with public nuisance after she allegedly shoved a lit cigarette into the cheek of Nine Network reporter Alex Bernhardt outside the Caboolture Magistrates Court on Monday.
The woman was at the court to support Stevee Jane Kennedy, who has been charged with the murder of a young father.
The 26-year-old man died on Sunday morning after staggering into a service station bleeding from an apparent stab wound.
Kennedy appeared in the court on Monday and was remanded in custody to reappear on July 24.
Her friend will appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court over the cigarette incident on July 23.
