Nepal's cricket captain Paras Khadka left Kathmandu for a visit to Australia last Thursday before the devastating earthquake hit his country.

He is staying here for a few more days and has been working alongside Nepalese-Australian community groups to help with fundraising efforts for victims of the quake.

Khadka has told Rajish Aryal from SBS Radio's Nepalese program, he believes it is critical now to ensure that aid money goes to those in greatest need of assistance.
