Queen photobombs selfie following win for Hockeyroos

The Hockeyroos have had a Royal surprise following their first win in Glasgow.

The Hockeyroos have been reportedly photo-bombed by the Queen following their opening win at the Commonwealth Games (Image: Twitter).

The Hockeyroos have opened their Commonwealth Games campaign with a comfortable 4-0 win over Malaysia.

The team wore black arm bands during the match, to honour victims of the MH17 disaster.

Player Jayde Taylor later tweeted a picture which apparently showed the Queen in the background.

“Ahhh The Queen photo-bombed our selfie!!” the tweet read.
