American Olympic bobsledder Johnny Quinn has become a verb after his pictures of smashing through a locked Sochi bathroom door became an internet hit.
The picture was retweeted almost 30,000 times and spawned the Twitter hashtag #Quinning, which was trending on Monday alongside similar frustrated tales of breaking out and through various barriers and objects.
Fans tweeted pictures of wine bottles being broken open and food cartons ripped apart in the act of "Quinning".
"5-7 inches of snow in Green Bay today, guess i'll have to use the power of #Quinning to get around. Thanks @JohnnyQuinnUSA," tweeted Jason Strunk in Green Bay, the Wisconsin town where Quinn once played in the NFL.
Quinn's internet fame was boosted two days after his bathroom episode when he posted pictures of himself trapped in an elevator.
