Race to Rio intensifies

Today's team photo ahead of Monday's World Cup warm-up against South Africa has focused the squad's minds on making sure they're not one of the seven players set to miss the plane to Rio.

Socceroos captain Mile Jedinak took a limited part today as he tries hard to overcome a niggling groin injury.

With Monday's friendly against South Africa looming,  the 30-man Socceroos squad is well aware that Ange Postecoglou will cut seven players from his squad before the flies out for Brazil on Wednesday.
