Raider Milford to Broncos in 2015

Star Raiders fullback Anthony Milford has confirmed he'll honour his agreement with Brisbane for next season just one week after back-to-back thrashings.

The Raiders' miserable season was compounded on Monday with star Raiders fullback confirming he will honour his NRL agreement to move to Brisbane in 2015.

The announcement comes after the Raiders' second straight week of leaking more than 50 points.

"This was a very tough decision for me and my family," Milford said.

"I've been with the club since I was awarded a scholarship at the age of 13. I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for the Raiders.

"I'm 100 per cent committed to the Raiders for the rest of the season."

Last month Raiders CEO Don Furner said "winning matches" was the secret to keeping Milford at the club.

It's clear things haven't gone according to plan.

Just nine matches (3-6) into Ricky Stuart's tenure at the Raiders after leaving Parramatta with the wooden spoon last year, his role is already under the microscope.

Stuart took the fall for the 54-18 Manly clash, then apologised to fans after the Warriors embarrassed his side 54-12 on Saturday.

Player power may have helped trigger the sacking of their former coach David Furner last year, yet White said the playing group remained 100 per cent united behind their new coach.

"I know Ricky came in and took responsibility for the Manly game - but he's not the one out there missing the tackles," White said after the 57 missed tackles across the two games.

"I don't think the focus should be on Ricky for the losses."

Lock Shaun Fensom also praised Stuart for "sticking his hand up and protecting the players".

"That's just the type of bloke he is," he said.

Fensom added that the players weren't having trouble adjusting to life under Stuart.

"All the teams have got the same moves, they're just called different names," he said.

However it's not the Raiders' attack which is their major concern, but their lack of defence on the fringe.

The Eels let in more than 50 points on five occasions under Stuart, yet White warned against bringing his history at the Eels into the equation.

"Anything previous to him coming here shouldn't come into it," White said.

"While he's been here he's been fantastic."

White, who expects Stuart to ring in the changes for this weekend's match against Penrith at Canberra Stadium, also defended the commitment of players at the club.

He denied the highly publicised tug-of-war over the future of Milford had a negative flow-on effect for other players.
