Canberra have signed English international Elliott Whitehead to a two-year NRL deal from next season.
Whitehead, 25, is playing in his second Super League season with Catalans Dragons.
He debuted for Bradford in 2009, playing five seasons and more than 100 first-grade matches for the Bulls.
Whitehead was part of England's 2014 Four Nations squad and played one match for the team in their narrow 16-14 loss to New Zealand.
Raiders CEO Don Furner said the signing of Whitehead gave the Raiders another strong addition to their forward pack and he looked forward to having him join the team alongside fellow English international Josh Hodgson.
"Elliott is a young but experienced first-grade player who will join us at the end of the season after an impressive career so far in the English Super League," Furner said.
"We've seen so far this season the positive impact players like Josh Hodgson and Sia Soliola have had on our squad and we look forward to Elliott continuing this for our club."
