Rain washes out NZ-Windies one-dayer

Persistent rain in Napier has forced the abandoment of the second one-day international in the five-match series between New Zealand and the West Indies.

The second one-day international between New Zealand and the West Indies in Napier has been abandoned without a ball being bowled after persistent rain washed out any chance of play at McLean Park.

The Windies won the first ODI by two wickets at Eden Park on Thursday.

The third match is in Queenstown on Wednesday.
