Country legend Randy Travis is reportedly unable to speak and walks with the help of a cane one year after suffering a stroke.
It was in early July of last year that Travis was hospitalised with what was, at first, thought to be a heart condition but was later revealed to be a stroke. While it was known that he would need a good deal of rehabilitation, the extent of his brain damage is only now being revealed.
According to TMZ, people in the know say the singer is unable to speak. One source says he isn't lucid enough to understand what is being said around him.
However, another source, a therapist, said he might be able to take the stage in possibly three years.
Since his stroke, Travis has been to a couple of events and photographed with friends and artists.
